I been thought many things in my life but still manage to stay on the right path. I have it harder because I am the oldest of two and I have only one parent. I didn't use that as an exuce like many of my pairs did I always told myself I wanted to be something great and be able to help my mom. So that's what I'm doing I'm staying in school graduating and moving on to higher learning. I am going to be something or someone someday and I know it would be a lot of hard work but I'm willing to so whatever it's takes. My biggest motto is Hard Work Beats Talent When Talents Fails To Work Hard.

Your life is about choices you make and the route you choice to go down. It can be hard to try to take yourself out the hood or the environment you are in because that may be all you know. But I always told myself I didn't want to be a product of my environment. I always wanted to be different and make something of myself. I could have been a drug dealer a hard head but I choice to listen and I realized that got me way father in life and gave me the life skills I have now. I love to have my own mind it shows that I am independent and strong minded

Falling in love with something that cant love you back  that can be crazy . I  fell in love with football around the age 8. i knew this was my first love because i cant live without it. this is a sport  that could  have you go crazy, get injured or even get killed from but i still love it. The hits the passion the emotion the aggressiveness but i love it. I really didn't see my life without football as I grew up but I realized that football ten to get injured and their careers could be cut short at anytime. but I knew that this is what I want and have to be ready to do anything it takes to make as a football player. I had people tell me now there's no way I am going to make it because I am to slow , to fat, not big enough and that most people like myself cant make it .I believe that I can make it if I work hard and put my mind to it I know it want be easy but I will nit give up because this is something I want and its a major goal I am going to reach no matter it might seem to some people.

 Passive smoking can not only affect the smoker but also the people near the smoke. Passive smoking is a cause of heart disease and lung cancer and can initiate or aggravate respiratory conditions such as asthma and bronchitis. Many people that don’t smoke but inhale smoke have some of the same respiratory problem as the people that smoke. These people have no choice as to whether or not they are exposed to your harmful smoke. Passive smoking constitutes a serious public health risk to both children and adults.Passive smoking is very harmful to health it kills 53,000 non smokers a year Passive smoking worsens asthma in those with the condition Passive smoking increases the risk of heart disease and lung cancer by 25%the threat of Heart disease is augmented by 50-60% in passive smoking these are just some of the Statistics shown (Smoking Statistic).

In 10th grade I learned and read a book call anthem and I learned a lot from that book us as Being yourself can bring changes that’s the biggest message trying to be portrayed in the book Anthem. I always knew that people couldn’t tell me what I could do or could not do especially if I was capable of doing it. Would you even let anyone make all your choices for you? You could show your independents in many ways. In Anthem Equality 7-2521 tried to find his individuality.  In the book it say that ”why the best in me had been my sins and transgression” meaning his creation of the light  bud was wonderful in Equality 7-2521 eyes but in the council eye it was not worth as much. In this society the council believed that no one could think for themselves. Equality was brought up thinking if the council did not above of what you was doing it would be a sin and with him creating the wonderful light bud he felt like he was worth much more then the council portrayed him to be.

Convict leasing was a system of penal labor practiced in the Southern United States. This beginning with the emancipation of slaves at the end of the American Civil War in 1865, peaking around 1880, and officially ending in the last state, Alabama, in 1928. Private prisons have a long history. In the 1880s private correctional organizations created the Convict Lease System, perhaps the first privatized prison system in America. Convict leasing provided prisoner labor to private parties, such as plantation owners and corporations such as the Tennessee Coal and Iron Company. The lessee was responsible for feeding, clothing, and housing the prisoners. I never knew that about convict leasing and it crazy how people was treated back in the day.

Learning about oregein policy decisions in an attempt o deal with international problems. One presidential foreign policy decision that I know about is the most current one in which our president Barack Obama created the National Security Strategy.  This foreign policy will end the war in Iraq   responsibly; finish the fight against the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan, secure nuclear weapons and loose nuclear materials from terrorists. This policy can be very historical because after all these year of fighting in Iraq this policy can stop that. Also it can help our economy system out. If the war stops there and in Afghanistan it might be easier to get oil and this will be two least nations the U.S would have to worry about getting into problems with. Some impact this policy had on other countries and region was the break factor. Meaning the solders that had to fight was able to live their lives now.  Some soldiers have been fighting for many years and lost many of friends and family due to the war.

Many people believe that the American Dream consists of money, the latest cars, and high priced cloth. They also think that wealth is the key to success which in some cases is not true. The U.S is becoming more and more depended on money. Many people also feel money shows your life accomplishment. The American dream is often based misplaced value then your life value. I feel that the American Dream is a Myth. You can like the American dream without the latest designer cloths and the hottest car. The American dream to me mean that you’re free and you can live your life. Meaning being able to good to the store at your free will is a blessing. Being able to walk the street without worrying about what race you is also a blessing. Being free to me is the greatest American dream. The reason why I feel this way is because people like Martin Luther King Jr fought for our freedom and people like Rosa Parks who wanted segregation to end. To me these people fought for the American dream and we are all living it. Well read some definition about the American dream there was a definition I thought fit my theory. “The American Dream can be described as a belief in freedom that allows all citizens and residents of the United States of America to achieve their goals in life through hard work. Another source can support the theory of the American dream being a Myth is the story “The United States Is a Land of Equal Opportunity”. In this story the author Walter Williams explains how the richer stays rich and the poor stay poor. It also showed how the real is made and from his view the way to live the American dream it comes from hard word .this to me proves that not only are you living the American dream each day you are working towards a better future. </strike>

Learnif about morphine was very enteristing.Morphine and all opiate painkillers work by activating certain receptors in the brain that cause pain relief. Receptor sends incoming messages throughout the body. For example in the civil war solider used morphine as a means to ease pain throughout the body and it went straight thought the bloodstream to the rest of the body. Morphine was said to be stronger than either alcohol or opium and soldier s in the American civil war soon became addicted to this drug and due to that 400,000 solders suffered from diseases. At this time the way soldiers used to share needle to get the morphine they needed to heal injures or pain. Opiate painkillers are the strongest class of painkillers. Morphine is a very strong painkiller. Morphine overdoes occurs when a person intentionally.

Life may bring you many different challenges but the way you handle them show what type of person you are. Losing a father at age 6 to gun violence is not the easiest thing in the world to handle. Just remembering that phone call is still hard to get over. Some people might use that as an excuse of why they have sercome to their society but I realized that he was a man that made some bad choices and he wanted better for me anyway. I was left to be the eldest of my two younger siblings’ and had to become a young man faster than I wanted to. I became responsible , determine and very ambitious knowing that nothing is ever handed to you and no one cares about what you went thought but what you can bring to the table. After overcoming that major optical l I know there were more to come. I was able to go to school and do what needed to be done.

IN Health class i am learning about alcohol. Alcohol is one of the oldest and popular drugs of all time. Alcohol was around since the Neolithic Era. Alcohol was first used for some religious and physical stimulation. But as time went on alcohol became a drug of choice for celebration and even just to have a good time. Also it started to be abused for other purposes.Alcohol is now used for much different personal reason. But as time went on and the drug got stronger people started to see how much this drug messes up your body in many ways. For example your brain is the control center of your body and if you put too much alcohol your brain loses its purpose.

In my health class I am learning about what food are good for you and what is unhealthy for you. There were many things that learned such as a  salad at Mc Donald's   is more fating and has more calories than big mac. we watch a movie called Super Size Me. I n this movie we seen a ma that decied to see what happens if he ate Mc Donalds for an whole month. We learned how unhealthy fast food is and how fast food is really made. After learning about this it changed my whole overview about what should or should not go in my body. I learned a big lesson.

After reading a little of the heart of darkness and watching the movie that relates to the book I learned more about the mind of person  being part of the military .  I seen an man that was going though the stages of breaking down after being part of the military. I learned that being part of the military can be a big toll on your life.  you see many of people being killed , blown up  and sometime you just cant take it as a human being.  After reading the text I wanted to know where this book was written at and during what time period was this book written.  I have learned many different things after reading this and watching the little bit of the movie.

Football is more than a game FC

From the day I was born I knew what god put me on this earth for. I was put on this earth to be that best I can be . At the age of 7 I knew that my passion was football I felt that there nothing I rather do. Many of my family members thought since my day was into basketball and very good at it that I would be just like him. I found something that I loved and felt good playing. I played in many basketball tournaments up into the age 10. But when I first put on my football gear in 6 grade I just knew that was my love. I  meet my cousin that played in the nfl and we spoke about how he feel I love with the sport and how much time and dedication it takes to be a football star. I knew this sport was for me because I'm the type of person that loves a challenge and football is a big challenge mentally and physically but I was ready. I was a kid that had built up angry and was looking to a better way to express myself and football help me. Without football I would not be the person I am today responsible, hard working and willing to fact many challenge. Football is more than a game it's a way of life

Being bullied can lead to dead, mental and stress on many people. I have been bullied and was able to get though it because I am a strong individual. but everyone is not as strong as me. I have meet kids throughout my life that have been called names, beat up and hazed for many different reason. people kill themselves  over being bullied and hazed. Physical abuse is not the only type of abuse there is verbal abuse and cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is similar to other types of bullying, except it takes place online and through text messages sent to cell phones. Cyber bullies can be classmates, online acquaintances, and even anonymous users, but most often they do know their victims.Verbal bullying occurs when someone uses language to gain power over his or her peers. The verbal bulling makes use of relentless insults and teasing to bully his or her peers. living thought everyday life being bullied can lead someone to there edge and to a path of distraction. there are many different way that you can deal with deal with bulling such as talking to someone about your problem.
