Life may bring you many different challenges but the way you handle them show what type of person you are. Losing a father at age 6 to gun violence is not the easiest thing in the world to handle. Just remembering that phone call is still hard to get over. Some people might use that as an excuse of why they have sercome to their society but I realized that he was a man that made some bad choices and he wanted better for me anyway. I was left to be the eldest of my two younger siblings’ and had to become a young man faster than I wanted to. I became responsible , determine and very ambitious knowing that nothing is ever handed to you and no one cares about what you went thought but what you can bring to the table. After overcoming that major optical l I know there were more to come. I was able to go to school and do what needed to be done.
