In 10th grade I learned and read a book call anthem and I learned a lot from that book us as Being yourself can
bring changes that’s the biggest message trying to be portrayed in the book Anthem.
I always knew that people couldn’t tell me what I could do or could not do
especially if I was capable of doing it. Would you even let anyone make all
your choices for you? You could show your independents in many ways. In Anthem
Equality 7-2521 tried to find his individuality. In
the book it say that ”why the best in me had been my sins and transgression”
meaning his creation of the light bud
was wonderful in Equality 7-2521 eyes but in the council eye it was not worth
as much. In this society the council believed that no one could think for
themselves. Equality was brought up thinking if the council did not above of
what you was doing it would be a sin and with him creating the wonderful light
bud he felt like he was worth much more then the council portrayed him to be.
So why did you write about this? It sounds like an old book report? What do you think about it?
