Life may bring you many different challenges but the way you handle them show what type of person you are. Losing a father at age 6 to gun violence is not the easiest thing in the world to handle. Just remembering that phone call is still hard to get over. Some people might use that as an excuse of why they have sercome to their society but I realized that he was a man that made some bad choices and he wanted better for me anyway. I was left to be the eldest of my two younger siblings’ and had to become a young man faster than I wanted to. I became responsible , determine and very ambitious knowing that nothing is ever handed to you and no one cares about what you went thought but what you can bring to the table. After overcoming that major optical l I know there were more to come. I was able to go to school and do what needed to be done.

IN Health class i am learning about alcohol. Alcohol is one of the oldest and popular drugs of all time. Alcohol was around since the Neolithic Era. Alcohol was first used for some religious and physical stimulation. But as time went on alcohol became a drug of choice for celebration and even just to have a good time. Also it started to be abused for other purposes.Alcohol is now used for much different personal reason. But as time went on and the drug got stronger people started to see how much this drug messes up your body in many ways. For example your brain is the control center of your body and if you put too much alcohol your brain loses its purpose.
